Is anyone heading to Dusk till Dawn next week for the £560/£150k?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone is heading to DTD next week for the inflated deepie? As i have yet to make it to any of the SPT events would be nice to put a few faces to names.

Should be a good event side event on the sunday aswell 15k for i think £100ish.

I am heading up on Friday from Newquay its a fair old trek (especially when you can't/won't drive) but should be worth while.

    ive never played live but after hearing about the dtd on the sky channel i was thinking of giving it a go

    Also Seppe if you havent played live i assume you mean giving DTD a shot another time not for a £560?? jus checking really and i have been there once for SPT Final and am very impressed with it so strongly recommend you get down there try play a few small tourneys

    A little out of my price range, so not unless I can satellite in.

    I might take a trip over to play the Super50 on Saturday though, will let you know if I decide to go (it's only 15miles from my house so I tend to decide pretty last minute).

    Has anyone got any recommendations for a decent but fairly priced hotel near DTD, the last couple ive stayed in when i have gone up have all been under par and over priced.

    Friday, I expect, although I'm not 100% decided yet, between Friday or Saturday.

    We gonna play some Omaha or DC Cash? I'm a bit short of cash this Month, Xmas expenses etc, so it'd come in handy......

    I will be there Friday, so yes, will look forward to topping up your pension!

    You will have to wait til I've bagged & tagged my chips from the comp though...... proper live tourney player me, don't you know (if you excuse the fact I went through 2011 without cashing in a live MTT...... ).

    Ouch. . . Promised the g/f would take her away for an overnight stop out this w/e as she worked most of Xmas/new year whilst I kept the sofa warm. . . Wonder if the prem inn notts and two days shopping alone in notts city centre would tickle her fancy. . I take it that it's a two day thingy??

    Hotel booked - 89quid for 3 nights im expecting a right old dump lol. 
    Travel booked - 31 quid each way national express 10hr trip each way - it better be worth it.

    Just have to decide day 1 or day 2? 

    Ill be one one keeping thier head down and tkaing a break every 20mins to smoke.

    Hello,

     Thought id let you guys know how this weekend has panned out so far. Made it down to DTD on Friday and managed to satillite into the main event for £112 so that was a bargin. However i unfortunatly busted out in level 3 after only playing 3 hands.....i kno i kno sit down with about a million bigs how could this happen right?

    Well play 55 flop 858 check raise call. Turn A check rasie call, river A check bet fold villan shows AJ.

    Next was 99 6 ways pre, flop 910Q UTG leads out for 450 1 caller i make it 2400 both call turn 10, at this point i slow down thinking Q10 has me. Sure i enought i check call river 3k villan shows Q10

    Then i pick up KK on button UTG opens for 450 2 callers i raise to 2600 2 callers flop 10 7 3 rainbow, check check i lead for 6500, fold then villan shoves for 21k having me a little covered. I tank for awhile not wanting to go out in this fashion to 1010 77 22 ect but the way this guys been playing he could have 89 or worse A10. I call he shows 99, turn 9. Awsome.

    I took some time out after this went to Nandos and ate then cinema to watch Goon before returning to play cash later that evening bought into a 50/1 game for £150 and sat and played tight for awhile building my stack to £600 before moving onto a 1/2 game.

    Heres how it went down, I had 87spades with a stack of £1100 by this point, called a £45 preflop bet after straddling 4 ways. Flop 9s 6s ah, checks around incredibly. Turn 5s, first to act leads out for £140, guy to my right makes it £310 i flat 1st calls. Rivers a blank and they both ship in front of me having me covered, i make the call obv and take it down, 1st shows AA for a set and guy to my left has Ace high flush ouch. 

    All in all weekend so far wish i had lasted longer in ME but hey ho mabye next time. Playing tHe £150 £15000K then some more cash before heading home.

    How is everyone else getting on Tikay last i saw you u still had some chips did you make it to day 2? hope someone did, good luck all.
