There is a reason for doing  this, Captain Conan is a french import who has not raced in this country, but won his last race in France.
The trainer (Nicky Henderson won this race last year).
The price is very good.So you could afford to have a bet on the favourite as a saver if Captain Conan does not produce the goods and still come away with a small profit.

there had been huge whispers for captain conan on tipping/racing forums yesterday, and Henderson had been ranting and raving about him also but couldnt bring myself to back him @ morning price 7/2 and headed off to work. couldnt believe he drifted then won!!! nice touch for anyone who took SP. wouldnt have him for supreme novices all the same, though id probs say the same for majority of other market principles in race

Unfortunately I did the bet with Sky and took the early price.
If I had put this bet on with Bet 365, and taken the early price of 9/2, I would have beem paid the 9/1.
