Perceived leaks vs giving action.

I see loads of talk in here about fixing leaks and optimising value.

One thing I'm unsure of is how to balance this with "giving action to get action".

I mainly play 10c/20c and am kind of spewy but with a purpose I've always thought.  Really believe you have to give action to get action, but if you plug all you leaks doesnt it become harder to disguise your hands?

Some of the biggest pots i have ever won are because other players at the table are used to my odd bit of spew, but also through pure frustration I think.

Really think I tend to win the max and lose the min in majority of pots I play, when I'm not out levelling myeslf.  But think I'd get less action if I plugged up more leaks...

Does this make sense?  Or am I missing something??

I kind of feel the same way, for example, I play "ABCD" poker (The D stands for Donk) seems to help me get paid when I have the goods.

I better read through a poker dictionary... I thought ABC was pretty much:

    1)Raise up with good hands
    2)Cbet most flops
