Unlucky mate, however not sure an all in move was necessary there with 15 BB left.

I'm presuming this was heads up for the seat and I don't know that he's going to get all that many opportunities to get it in ahead or dominating. If i think i'm likley to get a call by a hand i'm ahead of then i like the getting it all in approach

Not sure with so many chips I would push all in there. IMO no need. 3x bb, see the flop then take it from there.Normally you would think someone calling you has a pocket pair or AK/AQ. Bit unlucky she called really. GL mate.

Heads up at the end of a tourney they could call this with a MUCH MUCH MUCH larger range that AK, AQ or a PP - You'll get all sorts of calls here, almost any ace is possible to call, i've seen plenty of K 10's and KQ QJ KJ calls in this sort of position as well. Also take into account that it's a freeroll qualifier (i think it was a points entry one if i've read it correctly as webby is heads up for a seat in the semi) and the skill level of the opponent is a large variable. I would presume that having played the final table with this person that webby would have known they had a massive calling range on this and thought he could get it in good

some people may say the all in was a bad move i had a great feel for this final table and i was very confident i knew what was happening hand after hand, i was expecting a call and was happy to take the call as i thought i would be infront, in my mind i think player calls with j9 or j10 or better, and when i saw kq i thought great stuff really happy, if i had won the pot would people still say it was a bad move?

He was on the tables last night playing from a hotel, as I understand it his Solicitor had swine flu so he had to move out of his old house last week but can't get into his new one till next week, I'm guessing because they couldn't exchange contracts on time.

    lol elsadog, fabulous post.

Agree with webby that we cannot know that the all in was a bad move as we have no idea how the heads up battle was going, and therefore how likely the all in was to be called.

the fact that the all in was called means webby played the hand correctly imo and just got unlucky.
