Hi all,
hope you have had a good week. We are pleased to welcome back Stuart Rutter tonight as he joins me to analyse some serious MasterCash action. We kick off with Top of the Pots at 9pm, don't be late!! And then we will be looking at cash tables from all levels til 1pm!
You can find us on SKY865, or you can catch the live stream on here.

A few questions to put to you...
1. How important is ego in poker? Or is better not to have one? Most poker players I know do have one though
How big is your ego?!
2. What would your poker 'top tip' be, if you had to film one for us!?
thinking caps on, would be lovely to hear from you on the show tonight. Stuart's analysis is always great, so I look forward to learning a fair bit!
Now...off to the gym to counteract the family sized bag of giant buttons I ate last night.
see you later
A xx

Top Tips:
1.Before sitting down ensure you have CLEAR - REALISTIC - ACHIEVABLE - TARGETS
2. Only enter a hand if you are prepared to commit before the flop! Too many chips are squandered folding to a re-raise
3. Playing Cash always have an exit strategy in place be it how much you want to win or how many reloads if you lose.
Apologies for three instead of one! Have a great show and I hope Stuart's not daunted that he's got a lot to live up to

Let the conspiracy continue!
Hi all looking forward to tonights show.
In regards to your questions
1. I think you need to try and have no ego in poker as people will just try that bit harder to beat you lol.
2.My tip would be to take your time with your decisions and dont rush in to making a silly play when ur steaming from previous hands. Every day is a school day you have too keep learning to get better at poker.
In respose to your questions.
1) I think it is relatively important to have an ego in poker as long as it is in control. You have to believe in your own abilities and recognise when you have an edge/ or the others have an edge in a particular game.As long as the ego is based on fact and not overinflated then it will be an asset to you. It only becomes an issue if you let it control you.
2) For my top tip. When playing PLO8 A2xx is not the nuts and you should not be playing every hand just because it contains this. It will win some pots , split others and cost you a lot in chasing. So be more selective and have backups available before entering a pot.

Yes I have a poker ego and yes, when I play I check it at the door and only pick it back up when I turn my laptop off. I have lost too much money playing with ego to do it again. I can lose money quite easily without having to fight my ego too.
My poker top tip would be to relax and not to worry if you lose a lot of chips early in a tourny. You still have enough relative to the blinds to make a comeback.
Have fun and see you on the tables
cheers, really enjoying the show
