mistake or unlucky?

i can't see if i did anything wrong here? played reasonably tight for 2 hours in main event,took no head prizes. i came 12th on thursday in the bh with a few heads but went out with a silly mistake .should i be more reckless like the other players i came across and hope to get equally as lucky? or carry on playing how i feel comfortable

    all in pre fella especially when theres a limper in and you only have 10x big blinds,

    don't mind the raise if your never folding post flop.

    shove all in pre flop with your 10bigs you pick up the blinds but if called you`ve got a gd chance of doubling up with aq  but the guy that called out the big blind dont care how many chips he had thats a bad call imo.

    thats what i felt. a 900 raise should have been enough against anything but a pocket pair or big ace.but i guess you dont get big stacks waiting to play premium hands, i found the players extremly loose or reckless and i thought i did well to last 2 hrs against this sort of play. i refuse to play like this as if he did not get extremly lucky and hit a set of 2's i would have gained chips with him calling me pre. if i went allin pre i would have just picked up the blinds.
