  Trying to range your oppo in this hand is tough.

  Limp/calling pre tends to mean small pps, rag aces, suited connectors, favourite but garbage hands or hands that just look pretty.

 The problem in this hand is that you are losing to a vast majority of these hands on the river and you make a marginal call. Really tough to say whether it is the right call or not in the long run.Just remember that ther is a very fine line between hero call and muppet call.

If you make enough of these calls some are bound to end up being right, it's just like that Derren Brown trick getting 10 heads in a row flipping a coin, you tend not to post the 50 times when he has 2nd pair lol

To be honest if you put him on the flush draw check calling the river is fine and can be considered standard even. I like it well done!!! However the fact that he limped in probably puts all the cards on the board in his range so not standard and maybe one just done on gut instinct!
