I watched the show last night and for the first time ever! was disappointed! I'm sorry! I'm sure Anna & Mr Rutter are a cracking combination! but I just didn't get it!
Will Ed and Ian be back? or have they been axed forever?

there was a thread a couple of weeks ago regarding ed...... he posted on it saying he has moved on to pastures new and wishes all sky players and staff all the best.
Stuart Rutter is probably the best analyst Sky haev ever had IMO. Posted by scotty77
My personal opinion is that you are the best analyst! I don't want you to get big headed but I understood every point you were trying to get across. The word vague doesn't exist in your vocabulary. Every comment you made came from personal experience both good and bad, The forum was overflowing with requests for you to have a regular analysts position.
I am just expressing my personal view that I found a lot of comments vague and confusing yesterday I was not being disrespectful and am sure he is a great poker player
i can understand that sometimes technical terms can be a bit confusing but I think Stuart will probably realise that in his next couple of shows and find more of a balance.
being in that studio for ur first night is quite nerve racking, even tho Stuart didn't look nervous at all!
With Tikay, Stuart and Ryan there's potentially an excellent team of analysts right there. Shame about Ed though.
Both Ryan & Stuart will grow in to the role even more as they gain experience - I think both tried to rush things a little bit on the first shows but Ryan's increase in confidence from Show 1 to Show 2 was obvious and a great sign for the future.
Can I give a shout for Carlo? Not seen Stuart Rutter yet and I hugely respect Ian Frazer as a player and analyst. Ryan does a great job although sometimes a bit of it goes over my head and no surprise that Sky took him on as a regular analyst. But I just love it when Carlo is on. I don't think he gets it right every time but I love his enthuthiasm for the game. To see a man who has played at the highest levels including WSOP get excited about a hand in a little cash game or fairly cheap tourney is great. You just know that he has a great love for the game and it really shows.
Having worked with Stuart and also Ryan on their first weekends, I can honestly say they did so well on their first couple of shows. There is a lot going on for them, having an earpiece for the first time, knowing when to read the graphics, listening to counts, and just being on live tv for 4 hours is quite an achievement if you have never done it before. I think they will both find the right balance to strike with their analysis over their next few shows. Stuart asked me a few times throughout the evening whether he was coming accross too vague/simple/complicated etc. so he is aware that he wants to find the right tone, but I have to say, I really like both of Ryan's and Stuart's analysis, and I also like that their opinions differ. I would just let them settle into their seats a little bit more

plus one, i remember your first time ( on the show presenting ) and simalar thread, said opening post got shot down by community saying you need to give a chance to settle.

I'd just like to second this. Definately don't see enough love for Carlo on this forum!
FlyingDagg has it spot on that his love and enthuisiasm for the game shines through, and I find it helps me relate to his advice a lot more than the more technical analysts.

yeah, when you are new and filling big boots, it is daunting. And sometimes you need to get to grips with the bones of the show so to speak, before your personality can come out properly. And then it takes some people a while to get used to new faces!

Carlo is 24 carrot Gold! I remember Anna doing a photo caption competition with a photo of Carlo laid out on a picnic table. Can't remember the caption that won but it was pure TV magic!
