Diary of a tournament player switching to cash lacking any BRM

Ok this is it!!! Finally i am going to properly transfer over to cash, I played a fair bit of cash recently on all different sites ranging from small micro table to big tables with the likes of scotty77 beaneh gliterbabe and alot of other big hitters on this site. I have built a healthy bankroll from tournaments but i don't want to donk money to these players who sit there waiting for someone like me to turn up!!

I'm doing this the hard way and would invite anyone else to join me in this venture. I am starting with a Bankroll of £80 and will start at NL4 my plan hasn't gone too much further than that but I will not reload into cash this is my last attempt and I am to do it properly grinding away and working my way through the levels.

I will post constantly in the clinic and will be happy with any advice given as I am going to need it......... often.

This is my plan of action:-

BR £172 = NL8
BR £220 = NL10
BR £440 = NL20
BR £660 = NL30
BR £1100 = NL50

Starting by 4 to 8 tabling and when progressing starting at just two tables until up to 28 buy ins at that level.

    Good luck

I would say if you know you can beat a level then 22 buy ins is ok

    Hope variance treats you well

    - unless your in a pot with me - then I hope it spits in your eye )

Best of luck Batkin, from your recent results, you obviously have the game to acheive this.

I've been dabbling in cash recently myself and am tempted to give this a go myself but don't know if I have the patience to grind away at nl4

That looks like really good BRM to me up to NL10. I think 4-8tabling at 20NL with around £500 is gonna be dangerous, you're gonna have virtually 50% of your BR on the table at any one time. But yeah I think them values are good if you're playing 3-6 tables.

Obviously I can't speak for the higher levels because I've never played them but I've yet to see a single top player like Scotty77 (etc) that doesn't say you want at least 50 buyins for multitabling these levels.

I know what you mean i could whack 3 or 4 k on and go str8 in at nl100 but that would be a waste of money and i do admire the players who work there way up through the levels

Not trying to put a downer on it but going off some of the hands you posted from a final table MTT you seem quite loose and just want to point out that those sort of calls might get you in trouble at NL4 where it's best to just stay tight and let the money fall into your lap.

Good luck though mate and keep posting more hands especially cash ones.
