Same table 6 max $1/$2

Button limps, SB calls, I make it $8 with Ah Jc.  Button stations, SB folds.  both 100ish bb's.

18$ in there.  Ac9h4c flop I lead $10, Button stations, no real reads again.

38$ in pot Ac9h4c 8s.

Bit wary of set/ 2pr hands, but lead $30 to see where he is/what he does.  Stations me again.

$98 in pot  Ac9h4c 8s Jh.  Got to be my gin card...  Feels like hes got a hand to call a ship, I'm calling off a big bet  when he holds a set likely.  Ponder between shoving for value, but only thing I can put him on is a busted flush, decide to shove anyway in case he has 2pr, he snaps with 10Qo........

Do anything different?

Dont know if I like the bet on river.  Think c/c vs 2 pr or set is better.

Think opponent just mostly folds 2nd/3rd prs n missed draws.

    How does he have Q10?

I would bet flop a little bigger

I prob b/f every streeet although maybe he has two pair often enough to b/c river. I dont like openshipping the river though, it loses value from some hands that call a smaller bet

Had no reads at time, was 4th maybe 5th hand at table and not come across player before.

Just could not put him on straight as played.

Only range I could put him on was a 1pr busted FD, A weird 2 pr or owning me with a set.

Felt would be calling big river VB vs a set when I check call.  That he cant call much when he's missed flush.  But I may get the call vs an outdrawn Ax 2pr.  Felt like best option.

Think I was half in b/f mode at turn.  But $30 into $38 seems ok right?  Flop should have been more, agree.
