My vote goes to James Akenhead for no other reason than I like rooting for the underdog.

Likewise plus he was really really unlucky not to win a bracelet in an event last year with probably the mother of all badbeats to finish runner up.
I can't remember the hands but I have a feeling Tikay or SkyDave will.

He's had a great year and if anyone deserves it for flying our flag, he does imo. Will there be justice I wonder!

Good luck to the lad I'm sure there will be many of us rooting for him!

    James Akenhead.

Would be good for a brit to take down the ME, even though he's a little short stacked.

It's a bit strange with this final table in November lark though. I mean you're there at the ME and you've played well enough to make the final table, your confidence is high and you're in the zone. Then it stops and you come back a couple of months later. Who knows what will have happened to an individuals game in that time. A few bad beats can seriously knock your confidence.

Best of luck to them all though.

I will vote for someone else. No way will any of these players win, there is always some lucky so and so to come out of the pack at this tourny. How many this year??? 7000

Come on Webby, Jaime Gold wasn't "Good Enough" but his chip lead saw him through to the biggest payday in WSOP history. Do I want him to win?? No i'd like a PRO to get it, Do I think He Will?? No But he definatly COULD !!

The best I think there will be is an audio stream from BluffMagazine.com. I listened last year and while it was like listening to the FA Cup on the radio (would rather be watching, etc), it was actually a pretty fun way of following it.

I am 99% certain there won't be any streams because ESPN spend so much money getting the rights.

It was a $1,500 NLHE bracelet event I think, maybe a $2k. Got HU vs a kid called Blair Hinkle (his brother Grant won a bracelet in the same year). Akenhead was outclassing the kid heads-up, and Hinkle tried a big pre-flop with T4o vs Akenhead's AK. A lot of times Akenhead has a weaker hand there and can fold, this time he's obviously got the goods so calls.

Flop T-T-4, turn T just to really rub it in.

Sickening beat, but proof (for anyone who actually still needed it) that Akenhead has pedigree and class when it comes to monster field MTTs.

My vote goes to James Akenhead, a quality player. Anything can happen on the ft as we all know even if you do go in as the short stack

I voted for James Akenhead if he can get a early double up i think his fearless agression and ability for pushing his chips about will frighten a few at the table;but i wouldn't be surprised if darvin moon made some early speculative calls because of chipstack and knocks a few players out early doors.

    I also voted for Phil.
If anyone has the play to make a comeback, it is him.

Ive voted for James Aikenhead, coz i would love to see a brit win it through a $50 sattelite.
    Posted by fitzer14
$50 sat, i presumed he had bought into it as Channing owns 25% of him, what happened there then? was he $12.50 short of the satalite fee?? lol

Think it was Saout who got here from a $50 sat wasn't it?
