Why do they Slate Sky?

Whilst playing in the Sunday side event in Luton i was getting really annoyed with a lot of the Luton regulars basically slating SKY POKER saying how weak it was and full of fish. What i dont understand is if they really believe this then why are they not playing on it and cleaning up?
I have noticed this slating by so called proper players before and just wondered why this was ? I have played on most sites and found the standard much the same on all of them .
Anyway i am pleased to say at least 5 but maybe 6/7 players on the final table were from Sky and all of them gracious in defeat or victory and the people giving it the most mouth earlier were nowhere to be seen .... funny that.

it has been said on the forums before but i think that a large number of sky poker players turning up in 'team colours' etc does nothing to indicate serious and successful poker players.

while i dont particularly care either way on this issue i think its quite easy to see why people could get the wrong impression

also, i have played many other sites and there is a larger number of weaker players here than on other sites.  the standard has improved a lot though

I just ignore that nonsense, Jonjo. The standard on all Online Poker Sites is near identical, if it were not, it would soon correct itself, as players spotted & tried to exploit the weakness.

I hear it all the time, players mocking Sky Poker, or me, it's water off a ducks back.

A well known guy publically mocked the standard of Sky Poker players before the SPT Grand Final in Notts, busted before the first break, & then said it was because "those idiots from Sky Poker called me".

Go figure, how bright was he?
