Mind you id be too nervous,But would be nice to see a smaller stakes player on the show by way of a change.

Also will they be getting new analysts in?

As far as I know it's lolufold, scotty77 and stuart rutter, along with the old one obv that have been signed up as analysts.

I can't see the appeal of having a micro stakes player on tbh

Julian Thew is also an analyst now.

I imagine that more guests will be looked for by Claire and her team in the coming weeks....there will be a time of bedding into the new studio and a lot of guest have already been signed up for Feb.

Yeah congrats on the new role Ryan, I really enjoy yours and Redmond's input on the shows.

So does it affect the amount of volume you can get in per month much? How are you finding your new TV stardom? Bet you never imagined this when you first starting learning how to play poker.

There have been plenty of "smaller stakes" players on the Show down the years, plenty, & there is no reason why that will not continue. However, they need to be telegenic, talk fluently & coherently, & to be able to bring something to the Show. If they cannot, then be they small stakes or nosebleed guys, there is absolutely no point in having them on.

New Analysts in? There are 3 or 4 new Analsysts, & their arrival has been widely signposted & publicised, & all bar one (still to be announced) have been on the Show in the last few weeks.

Hey I was on ;o)  But I saw myself as more of an Anna Fowler than a Tikay Kendal..   I was going to say I was more of a Richard Orford.. then I remembered I was OK ;o)

Scouse Red & DTW Bandit were 2 of the best guests ever imo (on seperately, about 1 year apart).

As long as they're alongside a 'pro' analyst & are willing to have a go & not be 'shy' about analysing hands it's all good & vvv watchable. It's also like a 4 hour coaching session for the player himself.

Get Don on!!! - He talks a great game.......

Yup, exactly. I suspect the OP was not aware that we already do it frequently.

As Tikay and Ryan have both said there will be some time needed to settle into the new studio, plus we are practically fully booked in February for guests.

Going forward we will invite a variety of players in, but the most important thing is that they can talk well. We could have some of the worlds best players in but if they have nothing to say what's the point.

DOHHHHHHH is on the top of my list to get in the studio :)

Dohhhhhh gets a nose bleed walking out his front door let alone leaving doncaster. Getting JJ to come down to London is a big ask.

Sky would also need to supply 10 crates of strongbow to even get this off the ground!

Is it just me or does Rodney dressed up as Robin look a like like Redmond in that photo?

p.s I'd be interested in doing some mid-stake cash / MTT analysis if Sky decide to invite people in.
