DYM turn decision - first level

£33 DYM first level.

Played against villain before, but no real reads / recollections on his style- sharkscope doesn't flatter him but he has made recent profit improvements.

I'm not wanting to get too married to my hand at this stage and getting so many callers despite 5x raising pre isn't ideal!

Being OOP vs so many I elected to bet just over half pot on a very drawy flop. My question.......how do you now play the turn card?  Could anything have been played better earlier in the hand (bigger flop bet?).

    I would have better bigger on the flop and I would continue on the Turn.

    lol very loose table. I never play dym, but if i did i would rather play small-ball, esp early on; raise/isolate smaller imo.

    Putting LCROC22 on a range(after he calls your raise pre) should be easy if you have played him a few times(did he insta-call?), i think his range would consist of . . . Small pockets-55, Ajs-Ajoff, 99, A10, kjs(ruling out any Q combo as it's less likely). and poss jj,1010. . . 

    after he calls the flop the range narrows to possibly . . . A10, AsJs,ksjs, j9(less likely),..jj??  you could prob narrow his hand range better than i did, But AsJs is the only hand that i would be wary of, it kind-a fits with the story....

    ....its tough though, betting commits you with "no chance for parole". Checking is weak, and puts you in a tough spot if he shoves or leads, but this is what i would do . . and have a re-think after the villain made his play.

    check turn, see what oppo does

    Fold if you have to, table looks manic anyway - they will probbaly knock each other out so hold tight )

    If you check, what sorta hands will he bet, n what will he check with?

    In his shoes he has to check back all 1 pair hands, and will only bet for value with a hand better than yours?

    So I think it's a c/f unless he will turn AT/KT/QT/JT into a bluff.

    But it's a dym I have no idea how much players typically float & rep boards like this.

    Don't think c/f can be that bad an option.

    c/f is fine me thinks

    9s is worst card for us

     

    no idea how the £33 level plays but can’t see how anyone would float in a DYM or bluff that turn card
