Lately over the last couple of weeks in small end Tournies i've found myself moving away from my normal game of playing tight and waiting for premuim hands, to playing very loose early on looking to double up, well about 30% of the time this has worked the 70% i'm looking for another tournament to buy into. Should i carry on looking for early doubles while ideally not loosing much on stakes or revert back to my normal game.

When playing my normal game did ok but tended to get a bit bored waiting around for something to happen.

Thanks

It really depends on the player.

I have done both and tend to change depending how im feeling/playing. Personally i prefer and early double up(9 times out of 10 im usually miles ahead altho sometimes i will get in marginal if i think im ahead).

If you can use a big stack and like to control a table(when you can) then obviously an early double up will suit your game and means you can be more aggro, if you are pretty tight player and your best results are when your playing tight then dont change anything.

One of things i find is i enjoy playing more if i can be Loose and aggro, when im being a nit have to play alot more tables and still get bored.
