I think betting the turn is throwing money away, but unsure as i don't want another flush to hit the board. Secondly, snap fold on the river?

This is an area of my game I struggle with tbh too. Not sure if it's best to fire again to charge them if they still need to hit a flush if that's what they're chasing, or is it better to check for some pot control.

    Wrong section by the way.

My thinking here was a half pot bet, charges any draws and keeps some Jx in the hand. Then if raised i can happily fold, as played when called on the turn, i would just check fold the river.

Looks fine to me, just unlucky it comes 4 to the flush but easy fold now.

i fold and villain shows KK with the King of hearts for the nut flush.
Its surprising he played kings like this, one for the note book!

the half pot bet on turn looks weak a bigger bet is better, on this occation it wouldn`t have done you any good tho as he had overpair and flush draw, but you are not to know this as he flats your raise pre you should be ahead with top pair top kicker and you dont want to give him a cheap shot at a heart on river, you were just a bit unlucky, then again you were never ahead ;p
