Funny lol
Am going to predict that there was a rationale tho
I get more comments about limping than anything else, when I play on Sky, it's THE most oft-repeated thing, almost as if peeps are dying to prove me wrong! Reminds me of a neanderthal football fans all laughing when Rooney or whoever misses a pen, peeps do love to mock.
Sadly, in this case, whilst it's a shame to allow facts to get in the way of a good thread, the OP has got it well and truly round his neck. It was a 5 way limped Pot, & I was not UTG, I was in the SB. Good luck you if you fancy raising with Kc-10c OOP in a 30,000 chip Tourney.....exercising my option to "make up" here is abso fine, imo, & is not what I would deem to be a "limp".
Here, from my Online Diary elsewhere, is what actually happened.....
"....Then I got very lucky against poor BobAlike - what a lovely chap! - when I was in the SB with Kc-10c in a multi-way limped pot.
BobAlike had button-limped with 7s-5s & the flop came all spades, K-10-4. It soon becme heads up, he & I, & I somehow convinced myself he did not have it, he was playing it very strong from the Button, maybe he had the bare A? Anyway, I was playing three times his stack, which changes the thought process, so when he jammed on the blank turn for his last 10k, after some thought, I made the call, & then miracled the river. Sorry Sir! He was very gracious & dignified in defeat though, a genuinely nice chap.
