Not much info on the villian, apart from the fact they call ALOT pre.

u did play okydoaky wp :)

bit too aggresive on flop for me, but on turn its it going in there anyway!

re-raise to 120 flop or call, slightly prefer call but villain dependent

Turn re-raise about right and u could just call on the river, still only 2nd level so possible if they have higher flush you can comeback.

Would just prob flat the turn then re-assess the river when I see what he does.

Any small river bet would get raised, if he bets a decent amount I'd just flat.

As played I would just call river.

Gotta disagree here, there's no way I'm folding Q8 pre HU, ok there's a gap but they are connected and VERY often HU you're gonna be ahead with Qhigh and on top of that, I'm on the button, so I'm raising about 80-90% of hands anyway, if I get 3bet alot, then I can re-assess, but alot of the people at this level are calling with near enough 2 so I'm WAY ahead of his range.

Cheers Doh, I hate these people who min-bet every street. I should really discuss some thoughts on HU with someone/you because everything I've been doing is just from my own head which can't be good!

As played call the river, what are you expecting villain to call with, 9 clubs? you'r firing a very thin value-shove. Flop and turn raises way to big. I would just call the turn, your hand is not that great tbh(EDIT; but most prob ahead). You'r more likely to get bluffs on the river, than receiving value from raising here; me thinks.

folding Q8 pre on the button is not worth entertaining, unless he re-raises. but u shouldnt be folding any hands on the button against loose-passive opponents.

sometimes limping on the button against these types is ok, if ur sure u can outplay them post-flop, but Q8 easily warrants a raise pre.

As played is fine, apart from the river I would of flatted

Pre is fine, flat all three streets.

If you have QcQx I raise flop, but not with second pair
