Why has the starting stack in Hi Lo been reduced?

I have just played an Omaha HiLo DYM and registered for Hi Lo tourny starting at 14:55 and noticed that the starting stack has changed from 2,000 chips to 1,500 chips.

Speaking to the regulars who play, nobody seems to agree with this change.  I did not see this announced anywhere on Sky. Maybe Sky could give us their reasoning as to why this was changed without consultation with players.

I personally, would prefer going back to a 2,000 chip starting stack, and any regular hi lo players i have spoken to agree.

+1 Unless you DU early on it just becomes bingo and i think with more players starting to play the HiLo tournies now (there used to be around 14 and now its nearly double)  this will just stop them from playing, including me. Please explain :)

Good news, DYMs are back to 2K starting stack.

Bad news, Tournaments are still 1.5K.
