Hi all,
This is part of my main thread 'Orford's 12 for 12' so please post all entries on there. Click here to post entries
I'm putting up the rules of this comp on a seperate thread though so lots of you see it as it's buried away at the end of the main thread!
I'm playing timed torunaments between 7pm and midnight tonight.
And, as an incentive to get you all trying timed tournaments, here's the deal.
Whoever posts on the 'Orford's 12 for 12' thread the biggest ROI (Return On Investment)from a single timed tournament that takes place and finishes between the hours of 7pm and midnight tonight will win free entry into tomorrow night's main event- the £33 buy-in £15K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter.
So, play as many timed tourneys as you like. Then as and when you cash, cut and paste the tournament lobby result showing your player name and the amount you won, on this thread. Tell me how much the buy-in was and what percentage return on investment was.
How do you calculate ROI?
You divide the PROFIT (i.e. total prize minus buy-in and rake) by the total buy-in and then multiply by 100 to give you a percentage
Here's an example as a template, using a timed tournament that recently finished-
£200 GTD 15 mins
Player name- llollipop
Buy-in £5.50
Prize- £18.50
Profit= £13 (£18.50- £5.50)
divided by the buy-in ( £5.50)
=2.36
multiplied by 100 to give a percentage=
236%
Banepa | 4800 | 1 | £24.01 |
FLORIDA | 4587.50 | 2 | £22.93 |
Ahmet-Sal | 3750 | 3 | £18.74 |
llollipopp | 3700 | 4 | £18.50 |
It's less complicated than it looks! And well worth your time if you're one of the few who bothered even if the percentage is fairly low! If it beats the others you win!
Whoever posts and can prove with a pasting of the tourney lobby the highest percentage wins the seat.
You can enter as many times as you like and I'll award the winner at the stroke of midnight- so remember to check back on the thread to see if you won.
Good luck!
