Hi all,

New to the site and fairly new to poker for that matter, so can someone please enlighten me on this one?

To cut a long story short the pot was £9.60 and the pot was split so why did we both only recieve £4.44 each????

Where did the rest of the pot go?

Apologies if this is a silly question.

Also whilst am on did I play the hand correctly/did it play itself blah bla blah as im pretty new any thoughts would be appreciated.

Mucho love

Trod

    Rake Structure

The Rake is a service fee that's collected by the house from the hands played during any real money cash game and is calculated as per the table below.

A Raked hand is a hand that you participate in - this means that you have been dealt hole cards and the hand has generated at least £0.01 in rake for the player.

Sky Poker operates a no-flop no-drop policy. If a hand is completed without a flop being dealt then no Rake is taken.

All transactions including Rake are in GBP.

Sky Poker reserve the right to amend the rake levels at any given time, any such changes will be published here.

    Rake levels: 5p/10p and below

Number of Players Maximum Rake % per Pot Maximum Rake per Pot
     2 7.5% of the pot* £0.70
     3+ 7.5% of the pot* £1.40

Edit: Sky dave has already posted the link in his post above

Rake is basically sky's share for running the game.

As a response to the actual hand you posted, IP i'd be betting that flop to get paid by people drawing to a flush.
