200nl river, considering hero call?

Gone for thin value otr, think he will call with lots of worse A highs on this board.....

I get c/raised nit confuses me, there's no way he'd c/r something like pok 3's to 8's, think he'd bet turn with pp's />9's, and obv it's hard to have quads.....

Wud expect him to lead if he's hit the river as I should be checking back alot......

Anyone else suspicious here???

    Yeah definately.

Was in almost exact same spot in hand last week, villain opting to raise river frequently in these spots while I was at table.

Decided to VB AK on river for exact same reason as you, having already decided to snap a raise, which I did, opponent, surprisingly having a strong piece of it.

I think you've probably over levelled yourself, given what you think he percieves your bet as though :)

I'd be very tempted, but may just decide that its one of those spots where cant really see that I'm behind, but must be.  Equally may get stubborn though.  No missed draws, other than redundant spades... but checking strong oop flop/turn to cr river..... odd. ...  May infact get stubborn.

Given that he plays about 80% VPIP then your ahead of his range, but it depends on how its going to affect you if he flips over the 10 3o.

I'm not sure this is the type of player we should hero call too often.

I really doubt this guy is paying too much attention to dohhhs table image.

I did say should prob not be hero calling too often, there are definately times that warrant it.

    18 actually.

N at 2am this morning I logged off, stood up, n promptly fell over again through my "computer side table" n smashed it to pieces.

Dont't get in that state often like.

    Profitable session tho :P

c-bet flop, or bet the turn (little over half pot), betting river makes no sense whatsoever imo. Strange re-raise by the villain though!!

LMAO at potatoo's comment, little dig there?

When he feels sick after 24 cans of Strongbow he can turn it upside down and use it to hurl into.
