Shove flop after he raises you.

    Thanks Dudeskin8,can see that now.

As played what is correct thing to do now?

Tbh i was happy taking couple of quid profit from first session and was intending to stand when this happened.

As played it would be a fold as calling off 110bbs on a draw with one card to come isn't great.

On the flop I've got to agree with the 3-bet shove. He might have A5, 56 or a set but against anything else you're in good shape. On the turn your check gives the opponent the green light to bluff you.

I think with you overs, gut shot straight draw and flush draw you had to four bet shove the flop.

You get additional equity on the flop when you have two potential cards cards to hit which might improve your hand.

You may taking this line get hands like 5-4 to fold which you can't beat.

Think of it like - there is 50% chance they would call and 50% chance they will not. That means your equity is already  50% by shoving. With 5-4 this is a dead flip so your equity is 50% of the remaining 50% that you will win the hand.

By shoving rather than calling the shove therefore you are a 75% favorite rather than essentially flipping for the pot
