This raise means he isn't folding so can/should we fold here with ~7bbs behind soon to be ~5bbs

Think we have to shove.He's on the button and probably knows you're a nit(if you say he's a reg)so i think we are well ahead of his range.Plus the fact that there is 5 left and he's the other shortie so we cant really afford to let him steal our blinds.

Deffo a fold IMO, he's raising half his stack, I see that as being really strong, or really bad (but you said he's a good reg) If he had a marginal hand he'd just shove, especially as there has been a limper before him and he knows you are shortie in the big blind.

ALTHOUGH: If you forsee playing him MANY times in the future, it could be a great spot to call and make a note : )

I'd call against maniacs fold to rest especially to a reg, his sizing screams strength

Hmmmmmmm,tough one but i thinkon these levels i shove because your close to being blinded out,Ob he is a reg but he could be playing his JJ like this so id think then shove and hope its a 50/50 as you might not find a better spot.
