In cash, how many hands do I need to have played to get a decent estimate of BB/100hands?

Stupid question probably but what do I note an oppo's hand as if he calls with say QJ on a KKxJx flop, ?? is that still top pair?

its not top pair but prob not worth calling with unless you have a good read on the person you are playing or you are letting him in to cheap say pot is 80p and you bet 10p id consider the call just because im getting 8-1, that being said you havnt given enough info on the situation you was in.

was u in position, did he call a pre flop raise qith q j, how much was the raise, was it suited, was the bored suited, what were the two XX cards in this KKXJX and what kinda odds were you giving him?  it may be that he was playing the hand correct and the other person was playing it loose.

If it was me and he had called a pre flop raise and also called down turn and river with not favourable odds to do so would put something like,  called pre q j off or suited,  called down two streets with 2nd pair

don't bother looking at your sample size too seriously without at least 10k, at the micros your not going to spend 100k hands at the level since you'll be moving up so you rarely get an idea of true winrate.

Well i'm basically just confused what you would call his hand, just because I can't simply put top pair

@Welinhinoini or whatever it is :/, I guess it is pretty much 2nd pair, ty, there wasn't a specific hand I was thinking of, just when that situaion does arise I've struggled to note it with few characters.

@NColley hmmm sometime i'll try and record some stats over 10k hands and see what it's like, it would take me forever to get 100k especially being bothered to note my stats, but at least 10k would be an estimate.

course it does affect his hand he has 2 pair! its a great card for him as less likely someone has an overpair now if that makes sense :)

your hand is always 5 cards ;) hence why its two pair although obv if someone a King then your crooshed
