It's the equivalent of a very, very cold shower.

Tonight, on this most romantic of evenings- you can join a middle-aged man and an ancient man on a cosy sofa as they whisper sweet nothings into each other ears...



Mmmm.

However, if that doesn't quite float your boat then there's plenty of poker hands and chat on offer!

Yes, it's Rich and Tikay- back together for the first time since the relaunch and ready to declare their undying love for each other over the course of 5 hours LIVE from 7pm on Channel 865.You lucky people, you.

Also on the cards tonight-

7pm – 8pm: TONIGHT ON SKY POKER

A look ahead to what's happening on the site tonight, a roundup of the winners from Sunday's Primo main event and we'll live hands from the low to mid-stakes Mastercash tables as they happen from 7 till 8.

8pm – 9pm: Ask the Expert

It's the Tikay hour! Gawd help us J 

So fire away your questions to the man himself- maybe you watched the life of Tikay on the channel and want to ask a question……maybe you're new to Sky Poker and want some advice from Tikay……maybe you want to ask Tikay about a specific promotion on Sky Poker, or maybe you want Tikay to act as your agony uncle on a particular problem in your life or get his love-life advice for Valentine's Day?

Please send in hand Id’s from the TV tables so you can also  ‘Ask Tikay’ a specific question related to the hand.

 

9pm – 10pm: Sky Poker School

We'll be looking at the fundamentals of tournament poker. So in the mix will be...

·         Sky Poker software

·         Bankroll management

·         Types of MTTs

·         Plus plenty of low-stakes tournament hands to look at too!


10pm – 11pm: Chat Box

We'll be covering more of your forum threads from the past week and discussing them in-depth, plus looking at the week's poker news: including the current hot topic: whether LIVE Poker Tournament players should have the right to “chop”, or “do business” when it comes to the final table. Let us know your thoughts.


11pm – Midnight: Master Cash

Live action from the Master Cash tables to round off the show!

    Quite a range of opinions n myself getting rather wound up & v tilted by moobs.

    Wrote abit of explanation about reads/circumstances above it, if you are interested in showing it & want more info/hand id let me no plz.

    Right- I'm here at Sky Towers getting the show ready.

    We need your questions for Tikay for Ask the Expert from 8pm.

    Questions about his life, views on poker, analysis of play etc. Please send in hand ids from TV tables only. i.e. main events and Mastercash tables as we can't show any others.

    Plus- your Valentine's messages- whether they be for the onscreen Sky Poker team, other players, famous poker players, celebrities or perhaps even, shock horror, your real life partner!

    Evening guys, looking forward to another great show with a partnership that we all know gives Ant and Dec a run for their money.

    I saw you posted on a thread earlier regarding a well known player on the site who sometimes struggles with the mental side of the game. So, from a personal point of view, how do you deal with losing streaks (for instance at cash tables), do you set stop losses so you'll get up and leave if you're 5 Buyins down etc or what?

    And to keep him happy, a bit of trivia... which road is also known as the 'London Orbital'?

    Hopefully I'll have an interesting hand in the SPT satellite tonight that I can send in to ya for MTT hands between 9pm-10pm (and hopefully I'll be on the winning end of it!)

    My question for Tikay is

    "What developments in poker in the last five years, whether live or online, have been bad for the game (or been a bit of a backward step)?"

    We know about Black Friday and the Full Tilt saga, but does anything else spring to mind?

    hi richard and tikay

    tikay may or may not remember i posted to the forum a few weeks giving my viewpoint as a purely recreational player who loved to limp pre flop and call re raises as i play for fun and not to improve.

    well i took tikays advice onboard and started to play 3 tables rather than 1, i have defenitley seen my results improve despite still playing in what can only be described as a "gambling" style

    thanks for your advice tikay and enjoying the show

    thank your for reading my posts in the way they are intended

    i still have no pretensions to improve with the big boys (and gals) but small things like multi tabling and using the download all help from my very low starting base
