Hi all
Im a huge fan of of the TV show and every thing i know is from the show ( ITS YOUR FAULT IM RUBBISH!!) but is it just me or are sky and the top man that is TK doing nothing else but trying to get everone playing loads of tables. It cant just be me that is a loosing player, and as i get the idea that it stops people playing hands out of boredom, im pretty sure by playing 4 tables will just make us loose our money 4 times quicker.........and have to top up the account. be honest guys and girls.

if you're a profiting player you can make more money if you play more tables.

If you are a losing player you can lose more money playing more tables.

    one step at time.

    one table start making profit

    two tables start making profit

and so on but if you find your losing then go back to comfort zone

    Morning Dave.

    I HONESTLY think that.....

    1) Many new, or recreational players, lose money because they want to play every hand. Realistically, on average, 1 or 2 hands in every 10 is much nearer the mark at that stage of the learning process.

    2) By playing more Tables, you play LESS hands on each table, & therefore your hand selection is better.

If I were asked for THE two most important tips for a new or recreational player, I would say......

    a) Position

    b) Starting hand selection.

Playing most every hand is a DISASTER.

I would add that I also advise everyone NOT to play beyond their financial means.

If someone was playing 1 Table at, say, 5p-10p, I would always advise playing, say, 2 or 3 Tables at 2p-4p. You will, at WORST, lose less that way, or hopefully, win a little more.

I am NOT advocating "spend more", I am suggesting "spend it more wisely". More Tables = less variance. That is a GOOD thing.

You understand, as others do in the thread, that it IS my job to "sell" the product, or course it is. But I would never give advice that I do not personally think is correct, even though I love my job. They employ me, & I love the job, but they don't own me. Only Solack owns me.....

Anyway, since when did ANYONE listen to my advice? ;)

I have just started multi tabling, 3  at the moment, i found i difficult at first, missing hands, but just about getting used to it, i do ok on two but the third not so well, but i know that will be ok soon, just how the cards are dealt, and a some bad play by me,
i tried more than one table at the start, listened to TK and others, i was the fish as they say, i went back to one table, and started again, now i got the confidence to do 3, just trial and error, but don't waste to much money trying.

I also found when adding tables to play you have to make sure you get rid of other distractions i now play with background music on headphones, it stops the wife and kids disturbing me and i dont turn around when when Marlon Dingle does something on tv!!

There is a BIG difference between playing on Multiple Tables (Multi-tabling) and Multi-Table Tournaments - Are you sure you are not confusing the two?

I always multi table so I am less tempted to play marginal hands. Playing more helps tighten your range and lowers variance so its good advice.

I am not comfortable playing less than 6. Some players play up to 24 or more at once. So advising on just playing 2-4 is hardly them trying to sell multi table like crazy.

i have just started playing 6 tables it has taken me 2 months to get there but i have managed it and the results have been fantastic.

last year i played one table at a time now if i play for one hour its like if i played 6 last year.

also im doing this on a 15" monitor so its easy to arrange the tables, in mini view 2  rows of six with my seat bottom middle that way i can see all my cards on all my tables.
