Astonishing thread!
Sorry, windamon, Sky Poker will not be able to make the change in the rules you suggest - we'd get murdered if we did.
Once a player buys in & the event commences - Live or Online - his chips are in play, & must remain in play. The idea is that they MAY turn up late, or have been unavoidably delayed, but they cannot ever have a refund, so the chips belong to the Tournament, & his money to the Prize Pool. They cannot ever be "given" to anyone else.
The things that Sky Poker get blamed for never ceases to amaze me.
You really have to view it as if it were a live game. If you had paid £100 to enter a live game and your train was 2 hours late for instance, would you really expect your chips to be re-distributed to other players whilst you were away? Probably Not.
It's very common for live players to be late or even intentianally miss out the first dew levels.
Once a players has paid their entry fee, as Tikay says, the chips are in play and it is entirely up to the player how they use them.
Using swear words and ending with sort it out sky won't get you anywhere.
