MRBURNS4 Win Four 8s 778743.04
Just came third in a tourney with more than 600 people. This is the hand that practically inihalated me. Bearing in mind I was pretty fatigued by this point, just wondered what peoples thought are on it. Gotta admit though I couldn't believe what I saw when the guy called my all in (MRBURNS4 - don't know much about him). But if you wanna get quads, that seems like the time to do it!

bet he was loving his life when you done this for him.

seriously though, dont like ur play pre. 3-betting oop with a6 is only ever gonna get you in trouble.

fair enough c-bet but the turn!! this is horrible. what are u representing??? what did u think he had??

as soon as you took the decision to play a6 in this way oop, you then needed to be disciplined enough to get away.

pre is fine its actually very nice but depends on how often you have been doing it! As played you either gave up on the turn or put it all in in my opinion he can call you with alot less than an 8 here as such a terrible flop. He could call with AK AQ any 7 or any pocket pair 2's and upwards which are all in his range so i would give up on that turn.

    Hand is pretty read dependent

    pre is fine

I would just c/f flop, if I bet I would intend to barrell most turns, but thats an awful barrell card. c/f turn also

No point firing again on the turn IMO. If your opponent thought his hand was good on the flop, then he should still think his hand is good on the turn.

Personally I don't think I did anything wrong pre. There were only three of us left and I think my play was justified. But post-flop yeah I admit I was a bit tired.... think I convinced myself he had a hand I could get him off..... never would have put him on quads!
