There's loads of em.....

Do u rekkon 'decent' players that r unknowns to them would be able to take them on n win a few bob?

Then sit out?

Is it ok to hit & run a bum hunter?

Does it serve him right or is it still wrong???

After about 10 hands they know if they've got an edge or not. It's unlikely that they'll get stung over just 10 hands.

can i ask bigbluster, if they can tell after 10 hands and they realise they are playing a "half decent player" do they stand? if so ,why is ok for them to stand when they want to and not someone who wants to "hit and run"? surley  both sets of players have a set "agenda" 1) i only want to play fish and 2) i want to double up quick! mypersonal view is if you set yourself up by sitting for hrs on end waiting for fish you cant complain if if they dont want to "fight" fo a long time.  ps hope you did jj!!

Its an interesting point you raise JJ

Surely, if u are a complete unknown, all you have to do is play bad for a few hands, just limp the button and call with junk oop and min donk bet and do lots of weird stuff that fish do. Start with less than 100bbs too.

Then when they are licking their lips thinking great we got another fish here, start playing properly, top up to 100bb, stack them and leave! Gotta be a profitable strategy i would imagine.

Dunno if many do it tho cos it wont make u many friends! and you could only get away with it a few times on one site i would imagine.

I was just thinking, they're gonna play really risk averse at first & start slowly....

If I could win 10 big blinds in the first 5 minutes then leg it, that's a buy in innit!

I didn't btw, just went to bed :P

For some reason I'm reminded of the scene in Dazed and Confussed where Adam Goldberg reasons that if he starts a fight with someone at the part it will probably get broken up after a punch or two, as long as he gets the first punch in good, then plays defence he'll be fine. If I remember the scene ends with him getting his as* kicked. Go for it JJ!
