Just bubbled the seats in the SPT Brighton Sat... only consolation is I got £88 for 6th place.

Shoved K9 SB v BB (I'm 5th, he's 6th), called by QT and he flops 2 pair on me :(

I'd buy-in direct for £22 if you can.

What? lol. If you mean buying in direct to the actual £24 satellite and not trying to satellite into that for  £5, then I already am doing. I've bought in for the £24 on Tuesday (came 12th), Thursday (busted late on with my QQ v TT aipf) and then last night bubbled the seats but got £88 at least, so I'm actually in £12 profit so far lol, but I'd rather a seat.

The seat is £110,you have £88 therefore a direct buyin to tourney is £22.

Oh ok, I get ya now. Yeah I wish I could buy-in direct but I aint in the Priority Club and Tikay reckons they're definitely gonna sell out via satellites so there won't be any last minute direct buy-ins so this is my only choice. I'd have bought in direct before playing a single satellite if I could have.

Yeah I've been you at the sharp end I think every time I've played.

What's that actually mean YG? Is it like being put on a list of backups incase people don't turn up or something? And if so, would I not find out until last minute (I'd have to drive 2hr 30 to Brighton not knowing if I'm playing or not) ??

Basically the earlier you get there you will be the first back up and so on... i live 40 mins away so not too bad for me.

I dont know how many alternates are going to be allowed but i imagine they will offer a few maybe 10 or so for early bust outs ? if not ill prob jus play a sidey

Ah ok, so it's for early bust outs then not for people who don't turn up. I guess people who don't turn up would just be blinded out.

Well I'm still confident I can win a seat anyway but I guess it's there as a last resort, cheers.

I did this at Newcastle, arrived at 12.00pm and was 4th on the list I think, in all I think they sat an additional 19 that day so as a last resort, I'm sure you'd get in this way.

Cheers guys, yeah well I don't mind doing the drive if there's a very good chance of me getting a seat (don't think Llamas would be that impressed driving down with me for nothing).

But yeh this is all assuming I don't win a seat.

Yeah Don I would love to just buy-in direct but unless I can earn about 9,000 poker points in the next 10 days to make the priority club, I cant.

    Hi Paul,

If you go down early and put your name down on the alternates list, you will prob get in if there are a few bust outs.  If not, you will still get a game later. There is usually a game on the friday night, and I assume that their will be one on the saturday too.

    good luck mate.

Cheers fellow TPTer. Do I have to actually be there to put my name on the list, I couldn't do it over the phone or something?

    You gonna be there?

I've been playing my HU games on the off days where they're running the Glasgow sats.

I aint actually got a place booked to stay yet, didn't wanna book somewhere til I knew if I had a seat. Llamas will probably wanna have her say over where we stay anyway so probably leave that to her lol.
