Charlton have dropped a fair few points last few games so i would of stayed away from them, tbh i would of prefered napoli at home with some quality players upfront and with chelsea in shaky form, Hull city tomorrow at home to brighton is the bet.

they obvously beat chelsea but lets get one thing straight, they wernt the bankers of the night otherwise the bookies would have had them 1/2 or  1/3, stop trying to be a clever!!!!

    Ipswich 11/5 Hartlepool 6/4 & Bristol Rovers 14/5

It's amazing how many odds on bankers go down!

Why put £100 on a team to win £180
when you can back 3 teams with outstanding chances for £10 and get back £304?

you've just contradicted yourself, i'd previously said bankers don't mean odds on - and you said you'd never said you did! but you sort have proved my point there lets be honest.

and if most people were betitng 100 quid a week on a football team i doubt they wouldve picked a 4/9 shot as you said they would, not a good way to profit in the long term.

should have stated imo. which it was, second post after you launched your back as many 1/3 shots and get league leaders dropping points against relegation fodder.

i thot we were allowed to express views and guess who youd pick. like most people who picked them after, i thot that was were you were kinda heading. picking odds on shots it is then, unlucky better luck on sat

i havent contadicted myself, i no odds on shots go down all the time, thats why the bookie allways wins but my point is if napoli were bankers they would have been short priced that is all!!! also there is nothing wrong with me backing  a 1/2 cos im aiming to increase the stake each week!!!!

your last sentance, absolute rookie mistake. its nowt personal. but a rookie rookie mistake. your saying you'll increase stake like its a good thing. its how people go 'chasing' their losses. will end in tears. back who you like, i dont care. just dont tell me i cant have napoli as a banker. they were the bet of the night. top european home form v chelseas patchy away european form this year. against a chelsea team who have no spine like yester year. if a team has a spine of albeit cech, but then cahill, sideshow bob, ramires and raul mireleis, ill take them on most weeks at a price. my local pub team would go to genk and win for crying out loud.

man united and celtic amongst others up this weekend, some nice 1/5 shots there for you

i'll get the ball rolling and put up wolves @ 5/1 away to newcastle. the geordies might end up having one eye on the following weekends derby, while wolves were humiliated in their big derby a fortnight ago and will need to bounce back fast. they owe a performance to their fans. teams who lose their manager have been known to go and get a big response next game down the years, its happened quite frequently.

newcastles overall form this year has been excellent, theyve never travelled well to london so can overlook to some extent a 5-2 and 5- zip defeat in the capital in the past month, and albeit without 2 of their main men for those games in Ba and Tiote, but with the mackems game looming, and attentions turned elsewhere, not to mention wolves now ,literally fighting for their premiership lives, theyre worth a speculative punt

its also worth mentioning last 2 away games have yielded a superb point at white hart lane and a hard fought vicotry against fellow strugglers QPR, and might be the case at present that a break from Molineaux might breathe some extra life into them

    wolves 5/1 (lads)

To quote others, its all about value, would you take Wolves to win once in 5 games at Newcastle, given current form, injuries, manager sacked, and needing the result, I think so. So theyll probably not win but 5/1 is value so long term is worth a shot.
    Logical thinking Bell.
And as for Mr Martin Gale what happened to him, him with his infinite bank betting on infinite games ?

£100 DOUBLE ON BIRMINGHAM 4/7 AND SWINDON 4/9

Lots of discussion on here and each to their own.

But whatever anybody says your bets have got to be VALUE.

If you think a bet is good at Evens and the bookies are giving 6-4 you take the value if they are giving 4-7 you dont, its as simple as that. If you keep taking non value bets you will lose in the long run.

fancy 2 draws tbh, birmingham eyeing up cup replay midweek and swindons fantastic win run has to end sometime, though not necessarily with defeat. accrington are the away draw specialists this season, joint top in the entire football league with Cardiff on 9 away day stalemates so far.

out of the 2 id have brum given forests frustrating run of form , including 4 defeats in last 6, hoever their sole win through same period came last time out and theyre gonna have to start putting some momentum and a run together

    good luck with them
