yes, pre flop. He's cold four bet into 3 people including the three better, time to fold A high.

    reads?...

SB has cold 4 bet, at this level I doubt he ever has anything less then AA/KK (potentially AK/QQ) even though we have blockers to AA/KK we should be considering the fold pre. Calling without closing the action is risky because button can 5 bet behind us and then we have to fold.

When villian open jams flop for 4x pot hes pretty much told you what he has, and you don't have the pot odds to call. You'd need to be calling £50 to win £150, not £50 to win £67

U really need to know villain to make the call assuming he can 4 bet pre and shove the flop with JJ+, then marginal at best given the price you paying. As said by nc I guess this only ever KK AA here. Don't like the AA shove on the flop personally, you got one of the very few hands that's calling that isn't ahead.

To be fair, Hamster is a reckless player, but as NC says I doubt he ever has worse than QQ when 4betting into that many people.

Hate this call. Could even fold pre to a cold 4 bet. Was half paying attention when typing out original reply and didn't notice the nut flush draw (FML), but you've still not got the price to call IMO. Unless you're against AK with the K of clubs (Unlikely), then you're going to lose money making this call when you have those odds.

Trivial fold pre, calling 175bb post flop into ~40bb pot is pure gambling

Thanks for the feedback. The call was based on the way the cards had been good to me on that table (turned 30 into 200, on my br, thats a good night). It was just one of them moments where you feel like 'its coming'. I was 99% sure I was behind until a club comes but fancied the spin. Won't make that mistake again haha!
