When i enter a sat for m/e at £1.05 eg todays ( though not tried today) i seem to make the semi at 6pm where the number is greater 140 runners tonite so 28 through to main but i struggle in it.
Now i know the cheaper you qualify the greater roi but would it better buying in for one of the direct buy-ins for £4.80 where you get less runners ave 25 to 30 runners.
your thoughts would be helpfull as so far i think i`m on about 18 lowest buy-in for semi and still can`t make the main event.
THANKS

I much prefer the ME Directs for £4.80. I tend to find the blind levels are very high in the semi-final so unless you have a couple of double ups, it becomes a bit of shove and hope for the best towards the end.
I usually play a direct semi with approx 25 players & 5 go through, this way the blinds don't get too excessive and you can play a little closer to normality.
That being said, I think the £1.05 sat are excellent value for small stakes players to get their chance in a big tourny, so they deffinately have there place.
Good Luck
I do keep toying with the idea of liquidising my dinner so I can sit and play whilst drinking my dinner through a straw.
I always look on the total chips in game ie 100.000 total, say top 12 get a seat so you need to be looking at getting 8-10.000 chips to book your seat.
So basically you need normally to quadruple your starting stack although this does vary,But this seems to help me in sats,My advice would be play aggro with tpgk etc. Good luck
