No solid reads, i havent played the opponent for a while.

There was a hand earlier he limped A8o and called a 25bb shove level 1 or 2.

Im betting flop for value, best flop for my hand other then setting up and i think he can call pretty wide here. Villain has been playing pretty loose passive.

is this a call or fold?

I think you gotta call, most better pairs would 3bet and any 6x is tough to have.

L/C 25bb shove w/A8 shows his pretty crazy so could easily have overcards here.

lol, loose passives probably not doing this with too much you beat, he might overvalue 22/33/44/77/5x hands and maybe shove 78 (unlikely?).

Hands you losing too, AA-99/55/66, and he can prob have any 6x suited hands.

I think this being a sat/ combined with you labelling villian as a loose passive makes it more a fold then a call, although I dno.

Given villian a pretty wide range let me know what hands you think could be taken out/ any that could be added in.

Wow tough spot....you don't really lose to anything but you don't really beat anything, if that makes sense.

He may have called it off with A8o but he didn't shove which is the important thing when trying to break down his range. We don't have many reads at all which makes it tough.

In spots like this I find it's just a fold putting him on 77+ and 6x that got excited.

remove a 6 from his range, i doubt this guy is shoving a 6, A5, 44, 33, 77 is the majority of his shoving range...unless i am wrong and he shoves a 6....A6, 67s, there's not a lot of 6x combos tbf 99 is prob top of his range...overall i think we are good here, still tough and cant blame a fold.

In the moment i called, he shows 10s.

At first i actually did think thats ul he has it there, but then looking back the next day its an awful call.

The only hands he shoves we beat is 78suited and A5 and overs, the main reason its a really bad call is not because he has 10s(results orientated) but because when he spewed before with A8 he was calling.

Generally a passive player isnt going to be shoving light here, i agree not very often with a 6 but his shoving range has got to be crushing ours. I should have waited for a better spot, hey we all do things which looking back is bad ...live n learn :)

Your only beating 7's, passives don't shove with non made hands - thats why their passive

loose aggro would shove a five, draw - loose passive just going to call down with any draw

    beware "When passives go crazy"

don't beat yourself up, you had 8's

UL younggun it was allways going to be a close one; suppose for that reason alone folding 88 is prob best.
