Yes, its back by popular demand.....ish

Please give your favorite and least favorite poker starting hands and give your reasons why.

FAV -  QQ - I always seem to do better with these than either AA or KK.

Least FAV - Q4 - I lost a crucial pub poker League game with these a long time ago. To this day, I still get ribbed about it by quite a few people.

    FAVE- Probably Jacks, seem to do well and easier to know where you are then AA-kk :) obviously given the choice id rather Aces but find Jacks play well for me

    LEAST: AK, AK , AK and AK lol i always seem to lose more of my flips then i win. Key word SEEMS as im sure long term it would even out just tends to be my exit hand when deep in a Main.

    Fave (excepting the premiums) : probably 8 5 - they don't have to be suited, but it helps (1%) - because I have hit so often with them, it's scary.

    Least: 10 5. What a pointless hand.

    Favourite - In NLH, K9, preferably suited. Randomly cold 4 betting with it FTW. I also like 86s. In PLO8, I love A248ds.

    Least Favourite - Pocket 10's, A10, K10, pretty much anything with a 10 in it. Just such awkward hands to play.

    Not in Cribbage mate! Plus are they not both the cards you need in ANY hand to hit a straight of any kind?

    least Fav  A9,  I only play it if I'm in the BB and it is not raised before it gets to me

    Favourite is 53s.  Kept me alive a few times.

    Least favourite is QQ - When i get my hands on a pair of lovely ladies, trouble tends to follow! I get overexcited and I throw myself into all sorts of dangerous positions.

    I never know when to push or withdraw, and tend to just go with it and bust quickly.

    Low pairs - Easy to get away from and they normally play themselves when hit - nice and simple

    Always seem to get paid a bundle when this flops well and seems to perform to strongly if you end up having to get it all in against a shorty.

    Least Fav
    JJ Looks Awesome, just lets me down time and time again. I would rather fold it Pre-Flop tbh.

    Most used weapons of Choice when confronted by a 3 bet pre-flop
    78, 89 & Q10 Suited. Fantastic Little Earners for me anyway.

    Favs JJ in HE & 10JQKsooted in PLO.  Usually hit set with JJ & sooo many options in PLO.

    Least fav AA in HE  & AAxx in PLO.  Must be the level I play at but NOONE has any respect for AA! Invariably they hit their set! ;-) When I started to learn PLO I thought this  AA xx was the dogs! First night I played PLO I was dealt KKKK & 5555! I lost both hands! lol

    Greg tried that line on me and it's a load of dangly bits. It is as easy to argue that NO STRAIGHT HAS THEM BOTH IN. If my reasoning for playing a hand is that I'm hoping to hit 4 cards for the straight, I'll go bust very quickly.

    88 is my worst at the moment. They've been my tourny exit the last 3 times I've played them. 

    55 seem to be set city.
