Introducing The Moderators

Hi,

I'd be really interested to know who the moderators are on here and for them to introduce themselves, as I'm sure many others would.

I have a rough idea of a few mainly due to overhearing things in threads and such, I think we have Machka, Scouse_Red, JackBMW and I'm not sure who else.

Would be nice to know who all the moderators are... when did you start doing it? How did you get into it?

    Lol you mean you didn't know that one of your teamies is a Mod:)

    I'm Steve and have been on the site more or less since it started and like Dave I have been helping on the site for the last 18 months or so.

    Here is the original thread for Sky Poker - Meet the Mods

    I've been a moderator for just over a year, funny, seems so much longer*.

    I was enticed into moderating during a shady deal in a service station car park.  A large briefcase full of unmarked bank notes was involved in the deal**.

    It was well worth paying though***.

    The current community moderators are the 2 above, myself, scouse_red and JackBMW (lol).  I'm sure Chris (scouse) and Jack (lol) will be along soon to tell their story.

    Mod_Nosey was put out to pasture, it seemed the kindest thing to do****.

    I used to be in the 80s but never have been on here. Still got the bomber jacket and target patch.

    Yup I'm another one.  Originally I was known as "Sky_Mod7" but then I realised I shouldn't be using my real name as my Mod name so it was changed to Mod_JockBM.

    ... did you also know that the word "fllange" (with one "l") is a barred word in this forum yet it is a made-up word from Not The Nine O'clock News.  moderators?  who is in control of the swearing dictionary?
