HU Championship Poll

Hi All,

The second series of the HU Championship is at hand. Before I post up any details, I wanted to take a little poll and get people's opinions on how they would prefer it to be run.

Please only vote if you intend to play the competition

I intend to run it based purely on what the majority of people want (vote) so think carefully before you stick ya vote in. For this reason, please don't vote if you don't want to play as it will only alter the results and I'm hoping that by seeing how many votes we get in total, I can see how many people want to play.

Note: I'm fully aware some of the options might seem mad and no-one will pick them but it's only fair to give people the opportunity to vote. Also note that you are voting for the structure of the 1st round of the comp. Subsequent rounds will follow a natural progression similar to the last comp.

    That went wrong!

    Should have been different numbers of games for both levels of stakes! Please vote based on best of 3 or best of 5 and what format you like, then just post here what stakes u wanna play.

    Voted 3 x £1.05 Turbos - Don't see the point in doing £2.10's in the first round, unless that would mean Sky giving better prizes to the winners. Think Turbo > Standard, because standard HU games just take forever, and playing 5 or 7 of them in the final would be **** boring.

    Keep the buyin small in my opinion to allow all BR levels to get involved.

    Agree that standard would take too long but the turbo's can be a bit too short, so i vote for turbos best of 5.

    best of 3 turbos 1.05 allows for people to play within there bankroll and keep it fun, turbo is best as allows a bit of a game rather than a donk fest all in over, dosnt allow for the skill factor if super turbo nitro speed

    Well it looks like the general consensus is best of 3 Turbos (£1.05s). I'll keep an eye to see if it changes at all but unless people start voting differently, it's gonna be as above.

    I'll be putting up the main thread soon so please don't hang about putting your name in cos it'll have to be a max of 64 players again cos I dont think we'll be able to get 128.

    Best of 3 Turbo , call it turbo chanp just to be politically correct.

    Less people will play if standard only, dont mind mixed but what if 1 prefers Standard and other prefers Turbos.. 

    for that reason im in either way lol

    Turbos probably more realistic though looking @ the votes so far. 

    Buy in irrelevant, just make it the smallest they have, prob 50p's? If ppl wanna play higher they can sort it between them, doesn't really matter. 

    Wouldn't enter if it was reg speeds. 

    N1 for running it, btw, what prize did the winner/runner-up get last time? ;)

    love to play in this as missed out last time around, 

    1st round should allways be kept at low stakes as you might get 128 runners intressted.
