I will be trying from the bottom £2.50, so far couple attempts bubbled 1 and other close. Both bad beats zzzz i do know i need to run like god to get through about 4 levels but i believe i can do it given a bit of luck.
Is that what you meant? as your sentence doesnt really make sense, or maybe im just a thicko

SPOT ON AND HOPEFULLY SENTENCE MAKES MORE SENSE NOW.
Played 3 2.50 ones and bubbled twice. 1st one kk v 77, turn and river runner runner 77. 2nd one, 3 left i am cl qq in bb , both go all in and i call, up against 9j and q 10, needless to say one of them hits str8 on river. Will start again Monday.
I had been out on the golf course on Saturday morning in another semi-final. Four down with seven to play, it looked hopeless. I had played like a donkey, but then I found my rythym, and hauled it back to all square on the 17th only to find a horrible lie on the last and lose the match. I went home not feeling terribly great and thought I would sit down and play a satellite (or two). The rest is history.
I entered two micro satellites and qualified for the next round in the first, and came close in the second. I then took a break and made tea for my daughter and came back for the quarter satellite at 7. Frankly I struggled in this one, scraping into the last qualifying spot The Quarter Final was at 9.
This one was easy. Two hands really. I had J9 in the big blind. It was a battle of the blinds. The flop was JJ7, so I felt quite good, bet and was called. I put the small blind on a Jack or Seven. When a 7 came on the turn making me a full house, I was either very good or chopping. The last card was a 9 making me a higher full house and now I was hoping he had a Jack He bet out, I went all in and he called with J2. That put me safely in the top two, and when I doubled up with a straight later on, I coasted into the Semi Final, winning the Quarter Final easily.
The Semi Final was a tense affair. I was all-in only once with Queens against Geldy's Eights which held up, and then the final hand. We were 7 left with 5 qualifying. I min raised in the small blind with AQ hoping for a jam from the big blind with an inferior hand. As I made the raise, a player went out on the other table so this was it. He went all in with A4 and I called. When a queen came, wow the elation of making it to the final.

I wouldn't have pushed in that situation. I think there were others with fewer chips than us at that moment. its all about getting through the satellites at the end of the day and not putting yourself at risk too often lol

Then got to final table with big chiplead next go and went card dead, lost patience and blew it. Two more FTs since without success.
Tried a couple of the micros but no good.

Each time I've shoved wiith Aces behind and lost on the river!
Note to self: Fold Aces! Must try Harder next time!
Having said that I'm embarassed at some of the rivers i've had myself lately! so I'm just unlucky with variance on Vegas Sats
On a lighter note Sporny i hope you backed that 9/1 horse at the weekend!
With a name like "Seven is Lucky" you should have backed it!
