Hi guys,
Sorry for a late post for tonight's show, I have had a very eventful week!! My 8th birthday and a proposal
Despite it only being my 8th birthday I feel very grown up! Thank you for my birthday wishes btw. Anyway, Monday was back to reality with a bump! Happy to be in for my first Tuesday night show though tonight. I am being joined by Ryan and Tommy D tonight, and they are both ready and waiting for your questions...
Especially get your questions in for TommyD before 8pm when we have Ask the Expert
In Poker School (9pm) tonight we will be looking at the fundamentals of HU poker, mainly in cash.
Do you play heads up? Does it improve your game? Do you struggle with headsup? If you have any questions/comments about this get in touch:
skyopen@bskyb.com
Don't forget to get in your hand ID numbers from the tv mastercash tables if you want us to analyse your hands tonight...email or post them
Look forward to hearing from you. Also very much looking forward to catching up with many of you in Glasgow this weekend
A xx

Question for Ryan - do you think that if you played the WSOP main event again, having played it before would be a benefit?
What did you do right / wrong last time?
Question for Tommy
What has been your most Memorable MTT Win?
Killer question for Tommy and Ryan...
...you must have played many hands against each other, so;
Ryan, what are Tommy's strengths and weaknesses as a player?
Tommy, what are Ryan's strengths and weaknesses as a player?
Hi could this hand be analysed, player has been very active throughout and I think I wil be seen to be tight due to the lack of playable hands so far. Tommy was ctually on the table and may remember the player but I doubt it.
#487787328When he leads turn on such a draw hevay board should I fold if i intend to fold a blank river like i did? I ended up putting him on a set of 1010/JJ and betting to protect his hand on the turn to prevent me checking back and him losing value on the river, howveer due to how active he was this could of been a bare Q occasionally. Also is there any chance this could be a a missed draw such as 10Q Hearts or another heart draw Aj/A10. Should the fact I have the K of hearts kicker influence my decison?
Thanks Ryan
Firstly, if i may, a shout out for Tommy and his diary. I've been playing the game in a serious way for less than a year and Tommy's diary has got me involved in the community. I got in touch to ask some advice and he replied promptly. As an (ex) maths teacher myself, i don't know where he gets the time to do it. Anyway, much obliged Tommy. It really has made me push to improve. So much so that my question is........(queue trumpets!)...
"Would you advise buying software to help to improve my play. Not so much a hud(i know Sky doesn't support it) and i'm happy here. I'm considering Cardrunners, SitNGo Wizard and Sharkscope. What do you think and what order would you get them in if my funds won't cover all? The route to learning in the most efficient way does not appear straightforward to me."....
all the best
