Was I right to shove?

Hey guys, I figured the only way im going to get better is to analyze and question a lot of my hands so I thought i'd start by posting a hand i played earlier.
It was in a satellite where only the winner won a seat, and the blinds were 300/600/a100. I had about 17k and there was an aggressive big stack on about 54k, raising and bullying people of a lot of pots. There was 10 of us left and we were 5 handed on our table. I raised to 2,400 with 10's. He reraised to 6,800 and I jammed. He showed A7 and won with the A. I feel his play is pretty loose but he had the chips to do it with.
I think i'm roughly a 70% winner here, but with the prize being winner takes all as such and only a few $ for 2-6 was I right to push?

I am no expert but if I played this and saw him turn over a7 I would be over the moon.
