SPT Leg 4 - Brighton AND Glasgow - LIVE UPDATES THREAD

Good afternoon all. 

So, Leg 4 of this season's SPT is almost upon us. We've got two venues, two teams, two video streams, one thread. Post your well wishes and messages on this thread. We (Sky Dave/Tikay in the South and the Two Richards up North) will be posting our updates both on here and on the Live Update page here: 


We're going to run a thread competition too, with a seat to tomorrow night's Primo up for grabs. We want you to answer these two questions:

1) Which venue will finish LAST - Glasgow or Brighton?

2) At what time will the winner be crowned?

In the event of a tie-break (which would be some kind of mathematical anomaly...), we'll give the seat to the answer which was submitted FIRST on the thread.

Answers on this thread, with the submissions valid up to 2pm.

    The rumours are indeed true. Tony 'Tikay' Kendall won the side event here last night. That was over a field which included a WPT Champion in the shape of James Dempsey.

    We do hasten to add that he's the second Sky Poker presenter/analyst to win a side event in recent memory, with Richard Orford being the first.

    2nd James Cheek 3940 

    3rd Marius Michal £530 

    4th Siamek Siamek £330 

    5th Peter Veale £230

    Play has been underway for only 10 minutes and we've already lost MacMonster and Gliterbabe!

    Set over set for Ian, Kings into Thewy's Aces for Gliterbabe.

    If the comp is still open, I'll go with 1-01am and Brighton plz.
