Just a cooler fella. No idea what villain was doing in this hand tbh.

You want him to call your raise because 9/10 you`re gonna win.

Not to be this time. Run better & gl.

Don't dwell on the hands you lose. Variance is a killer but most of the time we'll win when we get it in as a favourite. You were about 80% to win this but that still means you'll lose it once in every five times. Don't focus on the bad beats: You can't stop them happening.

Even top players don't escape variance. Look at James Atkin's scope numbers: I think his ROI is about 14%. He's miles better than the players he's playing against but his edge is only worth 14%. It's hard to win at poker.

Try the Pokerstars Online Poker School, theres a chart I've got that tells you what you should do in each position, and it changes depending on if someone before you has limped, raised etc. Again don't take this as gospel as every hand is different but it may give you a good idea. Not sure exactly where is it but its worth checking it out!

492189192            I think we can see why torny prize pots are de-creasing and player level numbers leaving this is getting silly, 14 times in 2 days ak, kk, qq, jj, lost to runner runner or flush chasers ect. theirs variance and then theirs variance, I know thats the way it comes at times but then this, after making it from sun to wed in the survivor 5 hands in my pre raise gets called, my 3 bet reraise gets called on the flop and then the all in. im hoping it shows the hand when i post this, if the guy/woman had suited from start i could understand a little more but really am i missing somthing in my play here or is this just bingo from now on??

    I'll give you some advice

Stop moaning about bad players and realise you want to play versus bad players

If you understand this then that's half the battle won

"yeah man he called me with btm pair omg wtf he hit two pair on the river!"

If I told you that every hand you play you will get it in good, then surely this is good
Even though a small percentage of the time you WILL lose

Why would anyone complain about players getting it in bad then sucking out.  Bad players means profit and if they beat you now and again and you cant handle it then I dont think poker is the game for you.  Look through all your hand history and you will see how many times you win against the players who get it in bad.

You mentioned in your OP that you're 'losing money hand over fist'. This is clearly not enjoyable, variance or not. Take a look at what games you're playing, what stakes you play, and what bankroll you have (or amount you deposit willing to lose if thats how you roll).

For instance, if you have £80 and play 5p/10p, getting 2 bad beats that mean you lose 2 BIs (£20) is gonna hurt quite a bit, whereas if you we're playing 2p/4p, then beats would be £8 and you'd have more than enough to ride out the variance (assuming it's just variance and you do actually know what you're doing).

Also, I noticed the hands you've posted are chips, not cash, so I dunno if you're playing SnGs or MTTs but if it is tourneys then you need to realise that variance in MTTs can be a killer and you could easily go 20 in a row without cashing regardless of how good you are, so if you're playing £5 tourneys, you could easily be £100 down through no major fault of your own.
