Collusion

How do you go about reporting possible collusion in a game and what information is required to be given?. on the bubble in a omaha DYM and the big stacks play was bizarre to say the least when facing the low stack at the time. twice they timed out and gave the hand away  (ok possible connection problems) although they were immediately back in the game next hand but TWICE having bet into the pot and myself and the other player having folded  leaving the low stack with 2.50 chips they folded before the river card when the 2.50 was put in despite having nearly 6000 chips!!! (was an immediate fold both times, the time bar did not run down)

It might sound like sour grapes as eventually i lost out but found the other player on the site who cashed and asked what he thought and he was definitely of the opinion as well that the big stack was "giving" chips to the short stack to keep him in the game.

First time ive ever come across this and it was only a low value dym but has left a sour taste.

It does happen but it would be tough to prove.

I think it was a Chinese poker ring that saw the downfall of DYM's on Pokerstars. They played as a team, sometimes all sat together in the same room and made a fortune. DYM's are particularly vulnerable to it.

If you feel strongly about it, I guess you could contact customer care. They would probably not be able to do anything about it but they might be able to keep an eye open for these players and see if there's a long-term pattern.

They could always just be really bad players though.

Thanks for reply. Yes i realise its very difficult to prove. I have noted the players names and will not be sitting at a table where they are again.

no prob, and what c/care can do is check their previous game to see if any collusion, also if you ever expect it then report it.
