THURSDAY 15TH MARCH

A fantastic day yesterday with both of our selections winning, Simonsig (advised at 3/1) and solid 2 point e/w selection Finian’s Rainbow (advised at 11/2).

We have a fair bit of information through again today, most of it at Cheltenham. There are a few that look to have e/w chances at big prices, but the most solid option looks to be Salut Flo, who is very well fancied by the McCain team to add to their festival winners.

Today’s bet:

SALUT FLOW (CHELTENHAM 4.00) - 3 POINT WIN – 11/2 AVAILABLE

Today’s Information:

Cheltenham 1.30
Cristal Bonus
– Ideally we’d have liked a touch more rain, but it’s by all accounts riding a touch softer than the first 2 days so it shouldn’t be a problem. He has done nothing wrong so far over fences and this should really suit him today. He is in cracking order and we’re confident of a big run.
For Non Stop– We could do with top of the ground for him but he arguably comes here with the best form, despite it taking a slight knock on Tuesday with Al Ferof disappointing. We fel there’s plenty more to come from him and he certainly comes here with a live chance.

Cheltenham 2.05
Beuana Vista
 – He is in great form and really impressed in a recent racecourse gallop. He has been trained for this again all season and he comes here in really good order and has very little weight to carry. It’s a tough ask but he never seems to run a bad race here and is probably a bit of e/w value again.
Across The Bay – He is on a high enough mark but we really think he’ll be suited by conditions today and if he enjoys himself and gets into a rhythm he could just run into a place.

Hexham 2.20
Pena Dorada
 – He has had a few jumping problems in the past but he seems to be getting the hang of things now and this looks a pretty average race. If he puts in a clear round he should be the one to beat here.

Cheltenham 2.40
Riverside Theatre
 – His build up couldn’t have gone better and he comes here with a live chance. It is an extremely competitive looking race but he has been working very well lately and we’re quietly confident he could be the one they have to beat. If he comes to the last in contention he’ll be a tough nut to crack.

Cheltenham 3.20
Big Buck’s
 – There’s very little we can say about Big Buck’s that people don’t already know. It seems everyone is looking for ways for him to get beaten, my advice would be, don’t. Barring accidents he should have the measure of them all.
Voler La Vedette – It is a tough ask for here against the boys but she really couldn’t be in better order and we’re very hopeful of a big run today. She settles much better than she used to and that has been the key to her improvement this season. It’s doubtful we’llbe good enough to get near Big Buck’s but she could give the rest a bit to think about and all being well she should have a solid e/.w chance.

Cheltenham 4.00
Salut Flo
 – He has had a few jumping problems but we’re hopeful we have those ironed out now and he has been absolutely flying at home. He comes here in peak fitness and a clear round today would see him get very competitive. Obviously you need a bit of luck in a race like this, but provided he does jump well and Tom is able to keep him handy enough he really should have a great chance.
