i hate poker

edited March 2012 in Poker Chat
i hate poker at he moment u allways get called by players with inferior hands and they hit, never mind the poker pro going on about you need the fish to make any money, what about those of us who can only play 1 table and suffer horrible beats
i would lie to see yoyo and the other "pro"players start with a £25 bankroll and see how they do over a month

the standard is supposed to be getting better, but i dont know where..

some people dont know how to fold any hands , they like to defend their blinds no matter what they have..

Most pro's did start with about 25 £ !    They work hard, study and analyse play and become better players.   Instead of moaning about bad beats on the forum.     Just saying.

So you've been playing for 5 years online and live, you say the standard is terrible and yet:-

    1) You still have a bankroll of £25

    2) You're losing.

Maybe you should take up golf?

I started with a small bankroll.  It takes time and patience and decent brm and not feeling sorry for yourself and complaining about how unlucky you are.

Coxylboro for example started a br challenge with only 50 quid and the last time I saw his blog he had over 3k...that's in little over 2 months I think

    Firstly,
I would like to say if you're not enjoying poker at the moment, then take a breather.

Secondly, if you're not taking advantage of the fish adequately, then take a step back and reevaluate your game.

If you're playing well in the long run, you'll make money - simples.

    Lastly,
I'd love to see Yoyo and others start with a £25 BR, they'd show how it's done!

If everyone is calling light and playing any pair+. Tighten up significantly preflop, don't overvalue hands and play for pot control where necessary. Set targets to aim for with certain types of hands e.g. tptk 1/3 stack, this can help improve playing for pot control and folding medium strength hands when people are repping a huge hand.

Playing smaller stakes and going up with a small BR can be done. Plenty of people have started with low bankrolls and built them up into huge rolls. You can check out some threads on here of people starting with 2 figures and building them up including my £15-£1500 thread that I am currently neglecting.
