TBH - I cannot understand why you ever entered the pot in the first place. two limpers and a raise before you act is an insta fold, put the kettle on, relax and see what others are playing IMO.

Hand 1 - Your raise on the flop is WAY too small,  it's an extra 60 into a 320 pot, so you're gonna be getting called by absolutely anything. I don't mind calling in position on the turn to let him have another stab on the river. I think you could have got a bit more value on the river, maybe a bet of 500ish but it's not completely terrible to check behind.

Hand 2 - Obviously no analysis really needed here lol, yeah it's a nice flop for you but that aside... good raise pre to isolate the shover. Once you've been called and then shoved on for like 90BBs, there's no way on earth you can call with AQs so you folded correctly as I'm sure you know.

OCD man makes a good point which I didn't mention... you calling the raise in Hand 1 basically invites every single player to come along which means you're gonna be wanting to flop the nuts (or near as da_mn it) to be able to carry on. Either fold there and then, or if you really wanna play the hand, then make it like 160-180 to take it down to HU with you having the button.

I probably agree but these guys were calling any raise, i was gonna raise it to about 60 anyway before the guy before me did so thought i'll call 60 see a flop if i miss ive only lost 60 so i'll fold.

on the flop he raises 20 so thought i'll make it 80 to see if i can get info for cheap, didnt wanna put 200 in for him to re raise. once i hit 2 pair on the turn i was calling his 320 but by the river card i had no idea so decided to check.

ive started to get a little technique going that if i find a player is calling any raise i'll put as minimum in the pot as i can (unless i have a very strong hand) to see what they do and then make a judgement.

Yeah it might not be the best technique but some people will call anything! you only have to look at the second hand, the same guy went all in K10....

That was a bounty hunter tournament which ive just gone out of, AQ raised pre flop to 2400 from 800 blind, guy in no blind called with 33, flop come Q37! i bet he raised, all in, out hahaha

If you say everyone was calling any raise then why were you interested in playing a pot with a bad hand 5 way if you knew thats what would happen? you couldnt possibly be winning pre, so it was a huge gamble at such an early stage of a comp. Nuts if u ask me - but what the **** do i know!! lol

When i called the 60 raise i didnt know the other 3 were going to call? i quite like QJ and seeing as it was a bet of 60 i was going to make anyway thought id call and see a flop. The table i was on it was the best way to play it i think? IMO You have to adapt to the people you are playing, yeah its not text book poker but it works against them. Shud of known i was good from the J on the turn and either re raised and defo raised on the river! Oh well, you live and learn
