Jingle has an interesting player to his left - Pete Evans, aka "Peter the Bandit", who shot to fame in Late Night Poker all those years ago.
Bit of a character, & as I said yesterday, & must be well into his late sixties, early seventies maybe, & has just become the father of beautiful twin girls.
Sam is in a bit of an awkward spot here. He has about 20 Bigs - he is used to playing a lot deeper in cash games - so his stack is a bit difficult to "play". If he can get a 2xup, he can go on the tear, & crush this, but he needs that 2xup, as he only has a sort of one-dimensionlal game with that stack - the old heave ho. Posted by Tikay10
Flop was K-10-9, & local at-it-merchant Chris Gavriel had jammed.
Oppo tanked for an age, then folded A-K - ace up!
I would never criticise him for what looks like a tight fold, you never know, he may have had a great read, but in that spot, never, like never ever, EVER, show the A-K.
The bubble dynamic is clearly emerging, & some chaps are trying to ladder.
And this is when the better players crush. Simon Deadman is one of those, & his stack just keeps growing & growing. He is a GIQ merchant, too, he'd rather give up poker than be a table banger.

Mad Turk is on the Omaha cash game behind me, with Joe Grech, Jim McShane, & a few other villains of my acquaintance. They are playing £5 £5 4/5/6 Omaha, & I'm aching to play, but I really need & want to look out for or two lads, so I have swerved it.
Mad Turk has just been involved in a ruling, & a huge dispute - the fourth one in the last two days, lol. He's a bit incendiery.
He is, by birth, a Turk, & he is well & truly mad.

Good Luck Sam you can do it
Good grief!
Just saw an amazing fold on one Table.

No idea where his nickname comes from though.
Sam has about 35,000.
Blinds are 1,200-2,400/300.
Think this can be expected very soon......
22 remain, & the average is now 140,000.
Jingle seems to be Jungling a bit, I think he is down to about 100,000, maybe a shade more.
Hopefully, he will find this at exactly the right moment......
Ooh-er.
No idea what happened, but Jingle is down to 65,000.
And to make it worse, Blinds have just gone to 1,500/3,000/400.
Ave is 146,000.
Sam, 45,000
The Omaha Cash Game I told you about has broken.
Mad Turk was playing every hand "blind" - pot, pot, pot. (it is always Pot Limit).
He won all the money, off all the players, every single chip, & everyone else went busto.
Funny game, that 6 card Omaha.
Seperated only by the dealer, Sam has Jingle right behind him.
I can see Sam jmming on Jingle if it gets to the Blinds unopened.
Position works both ways, Sam can jam with a complere airball, but Jingle needs something to call.
