the tables emptied so moved to other tables however its all changed, im getting hardly any cards and when i do play a hand im lossing.  dont think iv changed the way im playing on the other tables, but im down to £1.17 now.

It's really hard to answer this. We can win when we play badly and lose when we play well so it's possible that you've lost all your money without making a mistake. It's also possible that you got up to £14 whilst making lots of mistakes.

Post a few hands and we might be able to tell you how you've been playing. Nothing wrong with being a beginner but unfortunately poker's a game that can be costly to learn... :(

88 hand c/r flop, as played dont fold turn.

If you deposit £5 to two table 4nl;he or 4plho you will lose it a lot of time even if you are a winning player

I dont see too much wrong with your play but the problem you have encountered is that even if you are the best player in the world you can still get stacked and lose your £5. It depends on how your luck is at the time. Like your 8,8 hand, i dont fold there but i know i am occasionally beat, thats the variance in the game. If you play often enough and you continue to make correct decisions then over time you will make a profit but a sample size of hands like a £5ers worth is nowhere near big enough to determine whether you are a winning player or not.

If you just play for a laugh maybe once or twice a month then its not a problem, you will have to embrace the fact that you win some lose some. Looks like you would do well at lower levels over time but they can be very swingy.

I tend to deposit £50 get it up to £200 and then back to zero fairly quickly

    Bankrolls are overrated
