Hello Poker peeps,

Hope you are all good, and enjoying our new spring weather :))

My week in brief since last Tues:
1. Did my back in, had to walk like a robot for a few days (sexy)
2. Took photos of my best friend's bump, but refused to touch it. Pregnant bellies always remind me of Alien
3. Got a suprsingly sweet congratulations text from Carlo re the engagement!
4.  For foodies out there in London..Discovered The Vine in Kentish town
5. Found out that mum's change a lot once they become a mother of the bride... and not for the better!

In other news..
Tonight, I have Mr Stuart Rutter who always gives great anaylsis. We will be talking about heads up hand range, looking mainly at cash.  So tonight is the night for those heads up questions

    Table: Master Cash 2 (NL20)

    Hi guys. I'd like it if you could have a look at this hand. Did i play these small pocket pairs well?

    So, after watching a previous sky poker school on small pocket pairs, when i found myself with 66 in position, i thought i'd try my luck. The hand played out fairly standard, with the pre-flop aggressor, being me, betting out on each street with my opponent check-calling. Then, the river came down 6 spades, giving me the set, but also completing any Flush draws. I bet 2/3 pot, and then for the first time in the hand my opponent Check-Raised, to 2x pot. I couldn't decide weather he had a decent hand or just air. In the end i decided to move all-in and my opponent called.

    Did i play my small pocket pair correctly?
    Should i have laid down my hand on the river after my opponent Check-Raised me?

    Huge respect for his game, so should be a very good show.

    Question for Matt :

    I read a magazine article recently which tipped Martins Adeniya, Chris Brammer, Matthew Frankland and Sam Trickett to have big years this year.
    How does he rate his game versus this group, and what are his aims and aspirations for 2012?

    Ugh, just reread OP and noticed it's just Anna and Stu............ either I'm going bonkers, or it's changed from earlier. (almost certainly the first one!).

    Weird that there is no mention why lol_raise aint on the show, did he round-house-kick an annoying producer in the face or summat..

    I sat next to Stuart in Walsall for the whole 35 minutes. Super nice guy and he ran unbelievably bad, but he took it like a champ. He definitely practices what he preaches.
